Lung Cancer Alliance Launches New Site for Screening

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death, more than breast, prostate, colon and pancreatic cancers – combined. In 2010 over 157,000 people died from lung cancer of which 80% were either former smokers or those who never smoked at all.

Gee maybe it's time that we put some money behind lung cancer research...Like yesterday. Just because the puritans think that smoking is "evil", doesn't mean that they/we deserve to die for lack of research; we pay for it via over-taxation after all. Fair is fair and the money is there, it just needs to be taken away from the many greedy politicians across this great land whose sole purpose seems to be to persecute smokers while purchasing golf carts with our tax dollars; and as we can see, this new caste system where some folks are being pushed aside and deemed as not being worthy of the gifts of modern science, has now expanded to non-smokers with lung cancer as well.

The time for change has been long overdue.
